One app, many hidden vaults
Every pattern opens its own vault. The unlock screen never lists them — not even how many there are.
Hushkeeper encrypts photos, videos and documents on your device with AES-256-GCM and keeps them behind a pattern only you know. No account. No ads. No tracking.

Built for the moments when someone else is holding your phone.
Every pattern opens its own vault. The unlock screen never lists them — not even how many there are.
Import from Photos and Files, drag and drop on iPad, or take photos and record video directly into the vault. Nothing lands in your camera roll.
Search by file name, filter media and documents, browse by day, and arrange files your way with folders and drag and drop.
Encrypted iCloud backup is free and on by default. Restore everything on a new iPhone with your recovery phrase.
Daily backup versions are kept for 30 days, so files you deleted by accident can come back.
Your vault follows you across devices. Every change is encrypted before it reaches iCloud.
Share selected files as a separate encrypted vault with a 9-word phrase. Set an expiry date, limit the number of opens and block exports.
A duress pattern opens a harmless vault and removes every other vault from the device. Your encrypted backups stay safe.
Swap the app icon for Calculator, Notes, Weather or Clock. It still opens to your pattern.
Many photo lockers only put files behind a passcode screen. Hushkeeper encrypts them, so a copy of your phone's storage shows nothing but noise.
Your 5×5 pattern and a secret salt from the device Keychain go through PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations.
The result opens an envelope holding a random 256-bit master key. The pattern itself is never stored.
Files, thumbnails, names and folders are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Large videos are sealed in authenticated 1 MB chunks.
Only ciphertext goes to your private iCloud. Your recovery phrase is the only way to open it on another device.

No. Files are encrypted on your device before they are stored or backed up. We don't run servers that receive your files or keys, and there's no account.
Tap "Use recovery phrase" on the unlock screen, enter your phrase and draw a new pattern. If you lose both the pattern and the phrase, the files can't be recovered.
Every pattern opens its own vault. Draw a pattern that doesn't match and Hushkeeper offers to create a new vault. There is no list of vaults anywhere in the app.
It opens one vault as usual and removes all other vaults from the device. Their encrypted iCloud backups remain and can be restored later with their recovery phrases.
Select files and tap Share. Hushkeeper creates a separate encrypted copy and a 9-word phrase. The other person opens it with "Join shared vault". You choose the expiry, the open limit and whether exports are allowed — and you can revoke it anytime.
No. iCloud is only used for encrypted backup, sync and sharing. Everything else works offline.
